Well, as always the ski trip to Chamonix went by way too fast.

We had our largest group yet. Also, we had the most women of any trip, and they labeled themselves “chix on stix.” Donna really liked having so many women on the trip and enjoyed skiing with all of them. Having such a diverse group made evening meals full of spirited conversation.

Two days of rain did not dampen the spirits of the group as many took a down day and went to Geneva either shopping, museuming or attending the International Auto Show. The rain in the valley was snow in the higher elevations, so the skiing the following day was fantastic. The best days for me were Sunday at leTour and Thursday at Brevent, big sun, blue sky, great snow and a fun group to ski with (doesn’t get any better).

Amsterdam for two days on the way home was relaxing and fun. With a centrally located hotel, getting around was easy. Hit some museums, ate great food, drank some beers and relaxed before coming home.

Ok, on to planning the Euro Ski Trip for ’09!
